Media Associate Director / Director

The Director, Media Planning position at Interactive Avenues in Bangalore, India, requires you to lead the region's Media Planning & Buying team with expertise and knowledge. You will be responsible for ensuring a strong media strategy, optimal budget utilization, and effective cross-channel optimizations based on campaign objectives and available inventory. Additionally, you will play a key role in new business pitches, demonstrating a deep understanding of the Indian media space and research. Managing a budget of 60-80Cr with a team of 3-4 individuals will be part of your responsibilities. Your main responsibilities include acting as a subject matter expert in media strategy, overseeing team deliverables, setting quality standards for planning documents, collaborating with other team leads, and leading non-client specific projects. You will actively manage milestone meetings, serve as a point of escalation for team issues, guide process enhancements, and participate in new business pitches. Developing senior client relationships, proactive capacity/resource management, and team leadership are crucial aspects of this role. You should have the ability to forecast outcomes of brand and ROI campaigns, expertise in platform tools and media research tools, strong communication skills, organizational capabilities, client relationship management skills, problem-solving abilities, and quantitative reasoning skills. A Master's or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Media Planner & Buyer are required qualifications.
