Job Responsibilities

Mechanical Technician / Fitter

• Assembly and installation:

  Fitting, assembling and installing mechanical, pneumatic components & automated systems like conveyors, turn tables, lifters, gantry systems, SPMs, Jigs & Fixtures etc.

• Maintenance and repair:

  Performing routine and reactive maintenance, inspecting for wear and tear, diagnosing malfunctions, and making necessary adjustments or repairs to mechanical and automated systems.

• Technical proficiency:

  Using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments to fabricate, repair, and adjust parts.

• Blueprint interpretation:

  Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.

• Safety compliance:

  Adhering to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• System knowledge:

  Maintaining a range of equipment, including material handling systems (like conveyor belts), compressors, fans, overhead crane and blowers.

• Manufacturing Processes:

  Knowledge of CNC/VMC Machine process, Presses, Fabrication, paint/powder coating process.

• Vendor Coordination:

  Communication with vendor for manufacturing status updates, quality inspection, commissioning etc.

• Record-keeping:

  Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, inward-outward of material process and FG quality inspection, adhering to safety standards and updating work orders.

Desired Skill Set

• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical fieldwork, preferably in industrial or automation projects.
• Knowledge of MS office, AutoCAD or any other 3D CAD software.
• Willingness to travel for site-based assignments.
• Work Environment
• Field-based job requiring travel to customer or project locations. May involve extended working hours during testing or commissioning. Must follow all safety, quality, and company standards.
