Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job description

BE in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10yrs experience in a chemical or petrochemical / pharma / process industry.

Responsible for maintaining the mechanical equipments

• Planning and execution of Preventive Maintenance Schedule thereby ensuring zero downtime
• Carry out condition monitoring and lubrication maintenance jobs as per schedule.
• Prepare Equipment specifications and review equipment drawings.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety practices and procedures.
• Mechanical maintanence during Shipment operation at MTF(member of Jetty operation crew)

Maintaining records for specified area

• Preparation and updation of SOP and work instructions as per IMS guidelines
• Preparation and updation of HIRA (Hazard Idenification and Risk Assessment)
• Prepare and Review of PM,CM,LM and breakdown statistical reports
• Lubrication oil / Spent oil-consumption monitoring and accounting monthwise.
• Ensure proper closing of permits and other interdepartmental documents.

Spares planning

• Identification of Spares requirement and ensure availability of all critical spares.
• Effective spares budget control by reducing non moving spares.
• Identify cost effective / indiginized spares with out compromising quality.
• Inspection of material received at Stores and physical stock verfiication at Engineering stores monthwise
• Creating Purchase requisitions/planning workshop general consumables in SAP
• Creating workflow in SANMARG

Responsible for modifications and fabrication jobs to be carried out

• Preparation of documents for new modification/fabrication/piping.(Management of change)
• Preparation of drawings for new modification/fabrication/piping.
• Coordination with fabrication team

Carry out a multidisciplinary role, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including operations, purchase and other service departments

• Support the operation team for effective and efficient operation of the plant.
• Support the cross functional team and to meet the overall goals of the organisation

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the mechanical equipment
• Maintaining records for specified area (ISBL - Inside boundary limit /OSBL - Outside boundary limit).

• CaCarry outryout multidisciplinary role, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including production and other service departments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹46,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
