Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to oversee the mechanical maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage mechanical maintenance activities to ensure optimal functioning of machinery and equipment.
Coordinate with engineering and production teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules.
Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all mechanical operations.
Train and mentor junior staff and technicians in mechanical practices and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for management.

Skills and Qualifications

7-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or related field.
Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as mechanical components.
Experience with predictive and preventive maintenance techniques.
Ability to use mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in mechanical operations.
