Mechanical Fitter

About Us:We are looking for a skilled VMC/CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating and setting up CNC/VMC machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and repair high-precision machine tool spindles (CNC, VMC, grinding, turning).
• . Perform bearing mounting (angular contact, cylindrical roller, etc.) with correct preload and alignment.
• Carry out micron-level precision fitting using micrometers, dial indicators, bore gauges, and other instruments.
• Conduct dynamic balancing and alignment checks for spindle assemblies.
• Handle thermal and press-fitting operations as per tolerance requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and accuracy during assembly to avoid contamination.
• Assist in fault diagnosis, disassembly, and inspection of spindles for repair.
• Ensure proper lubrication systems setup (grease, oil-air, oil-mist).
• Required Skills & Experience:
• ITI / Diploma in Fitter / Mechanical or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in precision mechanical fitting (spindle or similar high-precision assemblies preferred).
• Proficiency in using measuring instruments (micrometer, dial indicator, bore gauge).
• Understanding of tolerance, preload, and alignment.
• Knowledge of balancing machines will be an added advantage.

• Physically fit for manual handling of parts.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
