SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 5-8 years’ experience in blow mold design and engineering.
• Proficient designing with SolidWorks engineering software.
• Knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering codes and safety standards.
• Knowledge of mold mounting method, part removal for each machine model the mold may be installed into.
• Deep knowledge of metal and resin shrinkage and water line placement for cooling.
• Analyze materials to determine suitability for mold construction.
• Work creatively to problem solve and trouble shoot design issues.
• High attention to detail and results.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical specifications and give pertinent direction.
• Problem solving skills to determine potential issues and provide solutions.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
• Able to work independently, establish priorities, and set objectives for self.
• Ability to comprehend and evaluate facts and arrive at a decision consistent with company standards and procedures.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field of study preferred
