Job Summary

Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and verify
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
for mechanical works including gates, valves, pipelines, and hydro-mechanical systems
Conduct
quantity take-offs
from drawings and site measurements
Manage
project billing
, including preparation of RA bills, client invoices, and subcontractor payments
Perform
rate analysis
, cost estimation, and budgeting for mechanical components
Coordinate with site engineers, procurement teams, and contractors to ensure timely execution and billing
Maintain and update
cost control sheets
, work progress reports, and billing trackers

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors Degree in
Mechanical Engineering
Certification in
Quantity Surveying
or Construction Billing (preferred)
Minimum 6
years
of experience in infrastructure or dam construction projects

Preferred Experience

Worked on
dam, barrage, canal, or irrigation projects
Exposure to
hydro-mechanical systems
and large-scale infrastructure
