Job Description

58 years of hands-on experience in mechanical component development or vendor development roles. Strong understanding of manufacturing methods: CNC machining, turning, milling, sheet metal, casting, etc. Good knowledge of engineering materials, their applications, and selection criteria. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, GD&T, and tolerance analysis. Familiar with costing methods, part pricing, and value engineering. Strong supplier networking and bargaining/negotiation skills. Practical knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP processes. Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Excel, and basic project management tools. Exposure to prototype development, reverse engineering, or 3D scanning. Hands-on experience with MSA studies, SPC, and quality tools. Familiarity with supplier audits and vendor performance improvement. Experience in automotive / aerospace / industrial equipment sector is a plus.
