Mechanical Engineer

Purpose

Job

• Plan and execute routine erection or maintenance for TG and steam valve.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of turbine auxiliaries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in turbine systems to maintain optimal performance.
• Perform inspections and ensure regular maintenance schedules are followed.
• Work with the TG team to coordinate erection, shutdowns, repairs, and emergency operations.
• Develop and update technical documentation and maintenance logs for turbines and generators.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate auxiliary systems with turbine systems.

Technical

• Strong knowledge of turbine, generator and valve systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting turbines & generator mechanical components.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards for turbines, generators and valve.
• Knowledge of reading drawings of components.
• High-temperature materials (superalloys, composites).
• Heat treatment, welding, and surface coatings.
• Root cause failure analysis (RCFA).
• Predictive and preventive maintenance planning.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical/Power Engineering.
• Professional certification in turbine maintenance or related field is a plus.

Experience

• 4 - 5

  years of experience in erection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of turbine, generator and valve systems.
• Experience in power plant turbine, generator and valve maintenance, erection, particularly with steam, gas, or combined-cycle turbines.

Location

• Remote, India (As per Company requirement).

CTC offered

• As per Market Standard.
