Mechanical Engineer -III (VAVE & Cost Optimization)

As a Mechanical Engineer III at Talendroid, you will play a key role in leading the qualification of mechanical and electromechanical components, driving cost optimization initiatives, and implementing value engineering strategies across global manufacturing sites. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the design and qualification of mechanical/electromechanical products across global sites. - Drive strategic cost analysis, benchmarking, and VAVE (Value Analysis & Value Engineering) initiatives. - Conduct teardown analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Perform cost-benefit analysis and finalize annualized savings for projects. - Ensure product quality and performance while implementing cost-out strategies. - Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, quality, service, and global R&D teams. - Mentor and support technical growth within the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning. - Ensure compliance with global engineering standards and regulatory requirements. - Manage projects with a focus on quality, cost, schedule, and risk mitigation. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical engineering with a strong record in VAVE and cost-out projects. - Proven expertise in product cost analysis, teardown, and value engineering. - Experience managing end-to-end VAVE projects from scoping to implementation. - Familiarity with global qualification standards and regulatory compliance. - Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills. - Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
