Mechanical Engineer -III (VAVE & Cost Optimization)

As a Mechanical Engineer III at our dynamic team at Talendroid, your role is pivotal in leading the qualification of mechanical and electromechanical components, driving cost optimization initiatives, and implementing value engineering strategies across global manufacturing sites. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead design and qualification of mechanical/electromechanical products across global sites. - Drive strategic cost analysis, benchmarking, and VAVE (Value Analysis & Value Engineering) initiatives. - Conduct teardown analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Perform cost-benefit analysis and finalize annualized savings for projects. - Ensure product quality and performance while implementing cost-out strategies. - Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, quality, service, and global R&D teams. - Mentor and support technical growth within the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning. - Ensure compliance with global engineering standards and regulatory requirements. - Manage projects with a focus on quality, cost, schedule, and risk mitigation. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 10 years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical engineering with a strong record in VAVE and cost-out projects. - Proven expertise in product cost analysis, teardown, and value engineering. - Experience managing end-to-end VAVE projects from scoping to implementation. - Familiarity with global qualification standards and regulatory compliance. - Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills. - Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
