Mechanical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Reduce equipment and system downtime through proactive maintenance, prompt repairs, and effective troubleshooting. This helps in maintaining continuous operations and reducing production losses.
• Ensure that all electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems are reliable and function as intended. This involves regular inspections, maintenance, and upgrades to prevent unexpected failures.
• Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring that all equipment adheres to safety standards and regulations. This includes conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and implementing safety procedures.
• Enhance the efficiency and performance of equipment through regular maintenance, calibration, and adjustments. This aims to improve overall operational efficiency and energy consumption.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to extend the lifespan of equipment and systems. This includes regular servicing, replacements, and refurbishments as needed.
• Control maintenance costs by implementing cost-effective maintenance practices, optimizing inventory management for spare parts, and reducing the need for emergency repairs through effective planning.
