Mechanical Draughtsman

As a skilled and careful draftsman, your role will involve creating precise manufacturing schedules, technical drawings, and layouts for busducts and other mechanical components. This will require site visits, client coordination, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that all designs meet project objectives and client expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Create comprehensive busduct plans and manufacturing drawings conforming to project specifications, industry standards, and accuracy criteria. - Modify designs based on feedback from clients and project engineers. - Conduct multiple project site visits to obtain precise measurements and ensure plan accuracy. - Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and adjust post design completion, ensuring quantity and material accuracy. - Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and procurement teams to implement the plan successfully and address any design issues. - Engage in various drafting and design tasks as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of all graphics and modifications. Qualifications Required: - Technical mechanics degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering. - Proficiency in various CAD applications and drawing tools. - Strong attention to detail with a focus on design and sketching accuracy. - Ability to interpret and comprehend technical specifications and drawings. - Excellent coordination and communication skills. - Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
