You have 2 to 5 years of experience as an SAP MM Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing functional solution designs, preparing flow diagrams, input formats, file layouts, calculations, and output formats to align with Cooper Standard system model and general best practices. You will configure, test, document, and implement or adjust SAP functions, as well as perform root cause analysis on system errors and assist in triaging urgent incidents. Working under the supervision of the Manager, SAP IT, you will communicate with managers and their staff to negotiate program requirements and system specifications. It is essential to keep the manager informed of current task status using standard internal reporting methods. Your responsibilities also include working closely with user representatives and other systems staff in a cross-disciplinary team. You should continually seek self-education in SAP ERP and related systems, maintain technical expertise in your area of responsibility, and keep up to date with corresponding technology. Additionally, you will develop and maintain system and process documentation, coordinate work with legacy systems personnel, and may be required to perform duties beyond those specified in the description. As an SAP MM Associate, you must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT or business. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, self-motivation, and the capacity to work without direct supervision are crucial. You should possess excellent communication skills to interact with both IT resources and business users, providing clear information tailored to specific audiences. A thorough understanding of the SAP core ERP software toolset, experience in configuration, coding, analysis, software deployment, troubleshooting, and knowledge of APICS or related certifications are preferred. You should be adept at design and configuration in SAP MM, with knowledge of Vendor and Item Master, Master data, and act as a liaison between business and IT to define, design, and implement SAP solutions. Quick decision-making, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in presenting to large groups, and experience in work estimating, planning, scheduling, and monitoring are essential. Moreover, you should have expertise in various SCM processes, SAP IDOC structures, ABAP fundamentals, SAP files structures, Automotive Supplier EDI data exchange, and leading small to large teams on moderate to complex projects across all phases of SAP implementation/support projects. Experience with SAP ECC 5.0 or 6.0 is preferred, along with the ability to lead, design, develop, and coordinate cross-functional work within and outside SAP. Your role will require you to understand Supply Chain processes and their integration with other SAP modules effectively.,
