Equipment Requirement: Candidate must bring their own laptop with SolidWorks 2018 installed.

Urethane Products India Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Drafter to work on-site at a coworking space in Malviya Nagar, Jaipur. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years of SolidWorks experience, strong drafting skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and good English communication ability. The role focuses on creating precise engineering drawings and documentation while coordinating with the manufacturing and quality control (QC) teams located in Ahmedabad. No travel or customer-facing responsibilities are required.

Create accurate 2D and 3D SolidWorks (2018) drawings for parts, assemblies, and layouts.

Develop part numbers and prepare manufacturing and customer-ready drawings.

Prepare manuals, procedures, and engineering documentation using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Collaborate with the manufacturing and QC teams in Ahmedabad to ensure drawings meet production requirements.

Review standards and prepare drawings based on engineering inputs.

Conduct basic online research on materials, components, and industry standards.

Request and collect quotations from vendors via email.

Support internal drafting and documentation needs consistently.

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Minimum 3 years of SolidWorks experience (SolidWorks 2018 required).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong written and verbal English proficiency.

Familiarity with manufacturing and drafting standards.

High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Strong modeling and drafting skills in SolidWorks 2018.

Ability to interpret and produce detailed engineering drawings (including GD&T).

Ability to create structured technical documents and presentations.

Capability to coordinate remotely with production and QC teams.

Basic vendor communication skills (email-based).
