This is a full-time, on-site role in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, focused on the heart of our operations: the transformation of raw materials into finished, precision-machined components for the demanding mining and drilling industry. This is not a theoretical design role. You will be the critical link between the engineering design and the production floor, ensuring our products can be manufactured efficiently, repeatably, and to the highest quality standards. Develop, document, and refine manufacturing processes for metal components, including CNC milling, turning, grinding, and heat treatment. Oversee and support CAM programming, select appropriate cutting tools, and establish optimal machining parameters (feeds, speeds, depths of cut) for various hard metals and alloys. Establish in-process inspection points, interpret Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing specifications, and resolve any quality deviations. Act as a primary technical resource for the production team, troubleshooting machining issues, resolving bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions. Liaise with material suppliers on technical specifications and contribute to the selection and testing of new materials and coatings. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Demonstrable, hands-on experience in a metal machining production environment (e.g., CNC machine shop, component manufacturing). Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software, with a preference for SolidWorks. Practical understanding of CNC machining processes, G-code, and CAM software.
