Job Description

Sloki is looking for a passionate Mechanical Designer to support product and enclosure design activities for our engineering team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are strong in CAD and eager to learn plastic enclosure design and tooling.

Key Responsibilities

Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks for mechanical and enclosure parts.

Prepare accurate 2D drawings in AutoCAD for manufacturing, detailing, and documentation.

Support design and development of plastic enclosures for electronic and electro-mechanical products.

Interact with tool room / mold makers during tool design, fabrication, and trials to ensure design intent is met.

Assist in prototype build, fitment checks, and basic validation of designed parts.

Maintain drawing revisions, CAD data, and related documentation in an organized manner.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

0 1 year of experience in mechanical design (freshers with strong project work are welcome).

Hands-on experience with SolidWorks (3D) and AutoCAD (2D).

Basic understanding of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and fabrication/manufacturing processes.

Strong interest in learning plastic part design, mold basics, and DFM for injection-molded components.

Good communication skills and willingness to coordinate with manufacturing/tool room teams.

Exposure to plastic enclosure projects, sheet-metal parts, or machined components through academic or internship work.

Basic knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standards.
