Mechanical Designer

Candidate Requirements – Mechanical Designer (Car Parking System)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in designing mechanical systems, preferably Car Parking Systems.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks for 2D & 3D mechanical design.
• Understanding of fabrication drawings, BOM preparation, and tolerance.
• Experience in designing structural members, shafts, pulleys, wire ropes, chains, gear mechanisms, etc.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, sheet metal design.
• Ability to perform basic load calculations and structural checks.

Industry Knowledge (Preferred):

• Experience in mechanical parking systems.
• Understanding of Indian mechanical design standards.

Soft Skills:

• Good communication and team collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to deliver optimized design solutions.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Education:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop components/modules for car parking systems.
• Preparation of proposal drawings.
• Prepare part drawings, assembly drawings, and BOM.
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and installation teams.
• Optimize design for cost, manufacturability, and safety.
