Mechanical Design

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing mechanical components and assemblies, focusing on sheet metal fabrication. Your proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor will be essential in creating accurate technical drawings and developing 3D models to support product development from concept to production. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and enclosures with a specific emphasis on sheet metal fabrication. - Utilize AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to create and revise detailed 2D drawings and 3D models. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, electrical, and procurement to ensure functional, cost-effective, and manufacturable designs. - Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), technical documentation, and assembly instructions. - Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards. - Participate in design reviews, prototyping, and testing activities. - Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. - Maintain design documentation in a PDM/PLM system if applicable. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. - 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
