Job Title: Mechanical Design Trainee

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Trainee to join our engineering team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with foundational mechanical design knowledge looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. You will assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo).
• Support the design and development of mechanical parts, assemblies, and products.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of components.
• Conduct basic engineering calculations and simulations to verify designs.
• Work closely with the manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Assist in creating and maintaining technical documentation, drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
• Learn and apply industry standards and best practices in mechanical design and drafting.
• Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and design reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Internship or academic project experience in design (preferred but not required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
