Mechanical Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a Mechanical Design Engineer at VR Design Solutions, a Material Handling Equipment company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, your primary responsibility will be to create 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks. You will be tasked with preparing engineering drawings, collaborating closely with production and purchase teams, and ensuring that the designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Additionally, you will be expected to incorporate client feedback by modifying and revising designs as necessary, while also maintaining accurate drawing records and documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Create 2D and 3D models using SolidWorks - Prepare engineering drawings - Collaborate with production and purchase teams - Ensure design compliance with industry standards and safety regulations - Modify and revise designs based on client feedback - Maintain accurate drawing records and documentation Qualifications Required: - Diploma/BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Proficiency in SolidWorks - Hands-on experience in designing material handling equipment - Good understanding of GD&T, tolerances, and sheet metal/fabrication - Strong attention to detail and documentation VR Design Solutions offers a full-time, permanent position with a salary as per market standards.
