Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at our client's leading toy manufacturing company in Untva, Kadi, you will play a crucial role in designing jigs, fixtures, moulds, and validating mould designs. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative work environment alongside a passionate and creative team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conceptualise, design, and develop new mechanical devices or systems by translating engineering requirements into detailed designs meeting functional, performance, and safety specifications. - Have knowledge of drawing standards, prepare component and assembly drawings, and understand various component manufacturing processes. - Deliver designs, concepts, and drawings within given timelines. - Develop 2D and 3D models for jigs, fixtures, toy articles, moulds, and other products. - Conduct detail design of parts considering DFM, DFA, DFMEA, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&T, and utilise CAD software for design creation. - Perform engineering calculations and select materials meeting application requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring designs from concept to reality and participate in prototyping and testing phases. - Stay updated on the latest mechanical engineering technologies such as 3D printing, robotics, and advanced materials. - Communicate directly with customers after initial training. **Qualification and Skill Set:** - Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. - Proficiency in MS Office and 3D modelling software. - Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field. - Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, and solve problems effectively. - Proficiency in Gujarati, Hindi, and English languages.
