Mechanical Design Engineer (SolidWorks Specialist)

You are a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in SolidWorks sought by Vision Mechatronics to design mechanical systems, create 3D models, and collaborate with the production team for high-quality outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include creating 3D/2D models and drawings in SolidWorks, ensuring the manufacturability of mechanical designs, developing assemblies, conducting computer simulations and design validation, incorporating sheet metal fabrication into designs, reviewing models and drawings for manufacturability, collaborating with fabricators and machinists for production and quality checks, as well as maintaining accurate records of design changes and project progress. The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail, a commitment to quality, strong planning and organizational skills, a collaborative and team-driven mindset, as well as a sense of responsibility and accountability. Required qualifications include a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, proficiency in SolidWorks software, practical experience or knowledge in sheet metal fabrication, strong hands-on mechanical engineering skills, experience in design-to-manufacturing processes, and a team-oriented approach with strong organizational skills.
