About the Role:

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a full-time Mechanical Design Engineer position. The selected candidate will work directly at the client’s site in Chennai. The exact location will be finalized as per the client’s requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop sheet metal components, casting components, assemblies, and weldment structures using Creo
• Create detailed 2D drawings and accurate 3D models in line with manufacturing standards
• Coordinate with production and cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability
• Revise and update existing designs based on project or client feedback
• Maintain proper design documentation, revision control, and records

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience with Creo Software
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturing processes
• Good understanding of casting design principles (if applicable)
• Proficiency in GD&T, tolerances, and material specifications
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
