Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our machinery to support the smooth operations of our facility.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on various mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.

Diagnose mechanical issues through visual inspections, diagnostic tools, and troubleshooting techniques.

Perform necessary repairs, replacements, and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment functionality.

Collaborate with other maintenance team members to address complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.

Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and any additional recommendations for future improvements.

Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and decommissioning as needed.

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Stay informed about advancements in mechanical technology and equipment to enhance skills and knowledge.

Assist in the procurement of replacement parts and maintain an organized inventory of spare parts.

Provide training and guidance to junior mechanics or apprentices when required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or a degree in mechanical engineering is a plus.

Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
