Position:

• Provide safe, evidence-based general and regional anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgical cases across adult, obstetric, and paediatric populations.
• Perform pre-operative assessment and risk stratification; develop and communicate perioperative anaesthesia plans to surgical teams and families.
• Deliver advanced airway management and ventilatory support in the operating theatre and perioperative recovery areas; escalate and manage critical events.
• Perform ultrasound-guided regional nerve blocks and neuraxial anaesthesia; maintain procedural competency and documentation.
• Oversee post-anaesthesia care, including pain management, haemodynamic optimisation, and handover to ICU/ward teams; participate in critical care as needed.
• Contribute to clinical governance: maintain records, participate in audits, quality improvement, morbidity & mortality reviews, and mentor junior medical staff.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• MD/DNB/DA in Anaesthesiology (or equivalent) with relevant clinical training.
• Valid medical registration with appropriate State Medical Council/NMC allowing independent clinical practice in India.
• Proven competency in advanced airway management and ventilator care.
• Experience with ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia and neuraxial techniques.
• ACLS certification (or equivalent) and current life-support skills.
• Strong clinical documentation and adherence to anaesthesia safety protocols.
  

Preferred

• Experience in obstetric anaesthesia and emergency C-section management.
• Exposure to paediatric anaesthesia and perioperative pain management.
• Prior involvement in ICU management, quality improvement, or teaching activities.
