Maths Teacher (PGT)

As a Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) in Maths, you will be reporting to the Head of Department (HOD) and Academic Coordinator. Your role will require you to be a dedicated educator who is adaptable to various learning environments and willing to take on responsibilities. Your main responsibilities will include: - Planning, preparing teaching material, and delivering engaging lessons to students. - Assessing and providing feedback on students" work. - Conducting remedial and extra classes as needed to support students" learning. - Preparing students for subject-based competitions and events. - Actively participating in organizing extracurricular activities within the school. - Fulfilling all official duties and responsibilities assigned by the authorities. To be eligible for this position, you must have: - A Master's Degree in Maths with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subjects/combination of subjects and overall. - A B.Ed degree from a recognized university. - Strong subject knowledge, fluency in English, and proficiency in computer skills. In addition to the educational qualifications, you should have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as a PGT in a reputable school. Personal traits such as exceptional organizational skills, effective communication abilities, patience, and resilience are essential for this role.
