Job Title:

Role Summary:

The Maths Teacher is responsible for teaching Mathematics as per the CBSE curriculum, helping students develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics lessons according to the CBSE syllabus
  
• Teach classes effectively using age-appropriate teaching methods and teaching aids
  
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly and encourage logical thinking
  
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessment materials
  
• Conduct tests, assignments, and examinations as per CBSE guidelines
  
• Evaluate students performance and provide constructive feedback
  
• Identify learning gaps and support students through remedial teaching
  
• Maintain discipline and a safe, inclusive classroom environment
  
• Participate in curriculum planning, staff meetings, and school activities
  
• Communicate regularly with parents about students’ progress
  
• Stay updated with CBSE regulations, exam patterns, and teaching practices
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc / B.A.)
  
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) – mandatory for CBSE schools
  
• CTET qualification (preferred, as per CBSE norms)
  

Skills Required:

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  
• Ability to motivate and engage students
  
• Patience, dedication, and a student-centered approach
  
• Familiarity with smart boards and digital teaching tools
  

Experience:

• Freshers or experienced candidates may apply
  
• Prior teaching experience in a CBSE school is an advantage
