Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to educate students in classes 6, 7, and 8. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of middle school mathematics concepts and the ability to deliver engaging, clear, and effective lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lessons in mathematics tailored for classes 6, 7, and 8 according to the school curriculum.
• Develop and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.
• Explain mathematical concepts clearly, using appropriate teaching methods to ensure student understanding.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Monitor student progress through regular tests, quizzes, and assignments; provide feedback and additional support as needed.
• Maintain classroom discipline and promote respect among students.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support overall student development.
• Communicate with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
• Participate in professional development workshops and staff meetings.
• Stay updated with the latest educational techniques and math curriculum changes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, BSc, Engineering, BCA.
• Teaching certification/diploma preferred.
• Proven experience teaching mathematics to middle school students (classes 6-8).
• Strong knowledge of middle school mathematics topics including arithmetic, basic algebra, geometry, and data handling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching.
• Ability to use educational technology and digital teaching aids is a plus.
