An opportunity exists for a skilled Audio Engineer to join our team. The role entails managing audio equipment and ensuring the delivery of high-quality sound production for our humanitarian initiatives, including events such as conferences, music festivals, and CSR activities, as well as the supporting educational programs and healthcare services. Roles and Responsibilities: ● Operate and maintain audio equipment for various events and programs organized by the organisation. ● Set up and troubleshoot audio systems, including microphones, speakers, amplifiers, and mixing boards. ● Collaborate with event organisers and technical teams to ensure seamless sound production. ● Record, edit, and mix audio content for educational materials, presentations, and promotional videos. ● Monitor audio levels and quality during live events, making real-time adjustments as necessary. ● Assist in training staff and volunteers on audio equipment operation and best practices. ● Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in audio engineering. Requirements: ● Proven experience as a Live Sound/Studio engineer or similar role, preferably in live event production or broadcasting. ● Proficiency in operating audio equipment, including soundboards, microphones, and speakers. ● Strong technical knowledge of audio signal flow, acoustics, and digital audio processing. ● Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues under pressure. ● Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders. ● Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for event coverage.
