Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Tamil literature scholar who can edit books for various grades of learners of the school. The applicant is expected to have extensive experience in editing the Tamil language and handling associated e-resources. The candidate must be well-versed in translation work and should have knowledge of editing books written in Tamil. An added advantage of having published a few articles or books is appreciated. Key Responsibilities: 1. Content Creation: Write high-quality, original Tamil content like articles and books. Develop compelling narratives and storytelling elements to capture the audience's attention. Adapt writing style to suit different platforms and target audiences. 2. Translation and Editing: Translate English content into fluent and grammatically correct Tamil. Proofread and edit Tamil content to ensure accuracy and quality. Ensure consistency in tone and style across all content. 3. Collaboration: Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to ensure content integration across platforms. Required Skills: 1. Education: Masters in Tamil is mandatory and PhD and Research scholars can apply. 2. Computer Skills: Tamil typing and MS Office skills. 3. Excellent Tamil Language Proficiency: Native-level fluency in written and spoken Tamil is essential. Strong Writing Skills: Proven ability to craft engaging, clear, and concise Tamil content. Research Skills: Capability to research diverse topics and gather accurate information. Digital Savvy: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS). Attention to Detail: Ability to proofread and edit content meticulously to eliminate errors. Additional Skills: Should have Knowledge about book publications. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Experience: total work: 6 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
