Material Master Data Management

Responsibilities: * Manage creation, modification, extension, and deletion of material master data in SAP MM. * Ensure data accuracy and consistency through governance practices. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams for material data integration. * Support data migration with proper mapping and validation. * Develop and follow procedures for material data entry and checks. * Maintain documentation of processes, changes, and standards. * Cleanse, classify, verify, and enrich material data using tools like Sphera(spares Finder) MM, MDG, MDO and Prospecta. * Identify and remove duplicate or obsolete spares. * Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) for equipment and assemblies. * Interpret technical documents (drawings, datasheets) to populate attributes. * Standardize and code MRO spares using industry best practices. * Experience with Sphera(sparesFinder) MM cleansing tool. * Familiarity with valves, bearings, gaskets, electrical drives, and various spare types. * Proficient in data cleansing and noun-modifier identification.
