Markets Surveillance

As a Market Surveillance Specialist at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and analyzing market activity for potential signs of abuse or manipulation. Your responsibilities will include continuously monitoring market activities, conducting in-depth investigations, and providing accurate reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders. You will also be expected to contribute to enhancing current alerts, exception reports, and surveillance tools. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor market activities continuously to identify potential irregularities or market misconduct - Conduct in-depth investigations to gather evidence of market manipulation or misconduct - Support business projects related to the firm's market surveillance framework - Provide accurate and timely reports to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders - Execute appropriate controls aligned with the Barclays control framework - Support the control environment in relation to data quality, model effectiveness, and efficiency Qualifications Required: - Experience with Stakeholder Management, Decision Making & Problem Solving, and Strong Communication Skills - Good Analytical Experience and Understanding in Surveillance - Strong understanding of Fixed Income/Trade Surveillance In addition to the above responsibilities, you are expected to demonstrate the Barclays values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, as well as the Barclays Mindset of Empower, Challenge, and Drive.
