Marketing Specialist II

Job Summary: Apprenticeship to Assistant Managerial Position. Researches and analyses demographics, market trends, competitor strategies and campaigns, and other information relevant to the companys marketing objectives. Uses marketing expertise to help direct strategy and planning for promotional materials, tactics, and other department activities. Creates and develops new campaigns, advertising copy, and other marketing materials. Leads projects as directed/ assigned by the department management team. Responsibilities: Manage team of marketing specialists who develop, implement, and track marketing programs such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events. Lead the team in collaborating with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives. Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns. Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities. Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met. Monitor, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums. Work with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs. Skills Requirements: Vendor Management Marketing Strategy Project Management Support Skills. Strong verbal and written communications skills Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Communication Arts, Journalism, Marketing or any related course. Physical Requirements: Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal. Speak, type and/or sit for extended periods of time.
