As a dynamic and results-driven Event Marketing Manager at Sigmoid, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the positioning of Sigmoid as a thought leader in the data and analytics space. Your role will involve strategizing, planning, and executing high-impact events such as industry conferences, hosted events, webinars, and hackathons. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing the annual event marketing calendar aligned with Sigmoid's business objectives, researching and identifying sponsorship opportunities at key industry conferences, and ensuring consistent branding and messaging across all events. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end planning and execution of sponsored industry conferences, organizing hosted events to drive lead generation, and planning virtual events like webinars. Additionally, you will lead the planning and promotion of technical hackathons to showcase Sigmoid's innovation and attract top talent. Collaboration and stakeholder management are crucial aspects of this role. You will work closely with internal teams such as Sales and Delivery to align event goals with business priorities, liaise with external vendors and partners for flawless execution, and collaborate with content and design teams to develop impactful event messaging and marketing materials. Managing event budgets effectively while ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality is another key responsibility. You will track and report key metrics for each event, including leads generated, pipeline contribution, and brand impact, to ensure measurable ROI. To be successful in this role, you should have 4 to 7 years of experience in event marketing in IT Services, Data & Analytics firms, or a SaaS company. A Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred, and certification in digital marketing is a plus. Strong project management abilities, communication skills, knowledge of event platforms, email marketing platforms, and social media, as well as an analytical mindset, are essential for evaluating event success and deriving actionable insights.
