Role Objective

To support the hospital’s referral marketing efforts by connecting with referred patients telephonically, providing accurate information, facilitating appointments, and ensuring timely follow-ups to improve patient conversion and experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to referred patients received from doctors, clinics, corporates, and marketing teams.
  
• Explain hospital services, specialties, doctor availability, and appointment procedures clearly and courteously.
  
• Coordinate and confirm OPD appointments, investigations, and consultations.
  
• Follow up with referred patients to ensure visit confirmation and reduce drop-outs.
  
• Maintain accurate records of calls, appointments, conversions, and patient feedback in CRM or Excel trackers.
  
• Share daily and weekly call reports with the referral marketing or business development team.
  
• Coordinate with front office, OPD desks, and referral sales teams for smooth patient handling.
  
• Address basic patient queries related to location, consultation charges, documents required, and visiting hours.
  
• Escalate complex medical or billing queries to the concerned team promptly.
  
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital communication guidelines at all times.
  

Skills & Competencies

• Good verbal communication skills (local language and basic English).
  
• Pleasant phone etiquette and customer-friendly approach.
  
• Ability to handle multiple calls and follow-ups efficiently.
  
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, calling systems).
  
• Willingness to learn hospital services and referral processes.
  
• Result-oriented with a focus on patient conversion and service quality.
  

Preferred Profile

• Freshers interested in healthcare marketing or patient coordination roles.
  
• Prior experience in call centers, customer service, or tele calling is an added advantage.
  
• Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
