Marketing and Social Media Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Intern to support our educational media initiatives. The role involves content creation, prompt writing (for AI tools), campaign development, and managing our social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in digital content, brand storytelling, and audience engagement in the education space.

Key Responsibilities1. Content Creation & Ideation

• Develop engaging content for educational topics (posts, reels, infographics, short videos).
• Create content prompts for AI-based tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc.).
• Assist in scriptwriting and storyboarding for educational video content.
• Work with the design team (or independently) to produce visually appealing media.

2. Social Media Management

• Handle daily postings on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Maintain the content calendar and ensure timely uploads.
• Monitor trends and adapt content formats to improve reach and relevance.
• Respond to comments, DMs, and maintain community engagement.

3. Traffic Growth & Analytics

• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, clicks, follower growth).
• Suggest improvements for increasing organic traffic across platforms.
• Conduct simple competitor and market research to identify new trends.
• Support basic SEO and keyword optimisation for posts.

4. Brand Building & Campaign Support

• Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns and educational series.
• Help conceptualise micro-campaigns for festive days, themes, or trending topics.
• Maintain brand voice and consistency across all channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong interest in social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Excellent written English & speech and the ability to create catchy captions and storytelling content.
• Basic understanding of Canva or similar design tools.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT / AI prompts is a strong added advantage.
• Curiosity about the education sector and learning outcomes.
• Ability to work creatively, manage time, and meet deadlines.

• Comfortable experimenting with new ideas, styles, and tools.
• Data-driven mindset with willingness to track performance.
