The Startup Portfolio Manager will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and supporting high-potential startups in Chennai. You will engage with various stakeholders such as incubators, accelerators, and investment networks to identify startups requiring support in market readiness, funding access, mentorship, and ecosystem connections. Your key responsibilities will include working with different organizations to identify high-potential startups, facilitating their selection and onboarding into ecosystem programs, and organizing various events such as startup meetups, pitch events, and investor demo days. You will guide startups through tailored growth journeys, provide mentorship, funding access, and support, conduct assessments, and coordinate with mentors, experts, and corporate partners to address startup challenges. In addition, you will support startups in preparing pitch decks, business models, and financial projections, organize mock pitch sessions, connect startups with investors, and facilitate corporate partnerships. You will also be responsible for maintaining an active pipeline of startups, tracking their growth and funding milestones, providing data-driven insights on startup ecosystem trends, and supporting the Hub Lead in preparing impact reports and success stories. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 4-7 years of experience in startup engagement, investment networks, or accelerator/incubator programs. You should possess a strong understanding of funding cycles, startup challenges, and investor expectations, along with the ability to curate startup cohorts, match founders with mentors, and track progress. As a Senior Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the Packaging Consumables business. Working within the global Product Management Packaging Consumables organization, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Specialists. Your responsibilities will include acting as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for the Packaging Consumables category, as well as engaging in cross-functional collaboration with Services and Market Operations organizations. The position is based in APAC, preferably in SAM, MSPI, or Vietnam, and is a temporary role until April 1, 2026. Your key responsibilities will involve independently driving activities to support market needs, identifying opportunities for business growth, providing technical and commercial expertise in the Packaging Consumables category, and leading activities related to sales support. Additionally, you will be involved in portfolio promotion, training, pricing margin analysis, and continuous improvements for the sales support team. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or operations management, along with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Deep expertise in Packaging Consumables portfolio, excellent English skills, self-motivation, strategic thinking, and effective team player skills are essential qualities for this position.
