Marine Pilot

As a Trainee Marine Pilot cum Duty Port Captain, your role is to support the safe and efficient navigation of vessels within the port, as well as assist in the management of port operations. You will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of maritime traffic and upholding regulatory compliance. During your tenure as a trainee marine pilot, you will undergo comprehensive training and mentorship to develop the skills and expertise necessary to safely pilot vessels. Key Responsibilities: - Assist the Harbour master in overseeing port operations - Support the implementation of safety protocols and procedures - Coordinate vessel berthing and mooring activities - Conduct vessel inspections - Participate in emergency response drills Qualifications Required: - Valid Master (F.G) Certificate of Competency - Prior vessel handling experience preferred - Functional Skills: - Maritime knowledge related to vessel operations in port - Handling emergency response in port/vessels - Understanding of maritime safety, communication, and teamwork - Behavioral Skills: - Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment,
