Job Description

We are seeking on shore a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Voyage Manager. The ideal candidate should have prior sailing experience on oil/product tankers as a 2nd Officer and at least 2 years of commercial operations experience. This role involves managing pre- and post-fixture operations of tanker voyages. The candidate will collaborate closely with chartering teams, brokers, agents, and internal departments. They will be responsible for ensuring smooth voyage execution, optimizing vessel performance, and supporting commercial objectives. Position: Assistant Voyage Manager Location: Mumbai Responsibilities Assist Chartering Department with pre-fixture requirements including vessel data, voyage costs, and trade suitability. Coordinate with brokers, agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of voyages and manage receivables and claims. Monitor vessel performance, cargo intake optimization, and ensure timely bunkering as per trade requirements. Handle appointment of port agents, billing, disbursement account reviews, and maintain accurate documentation in company systems. Qualifications Seagoing experience as 2nd Officer or higher rank.
