Manufacturing Optimization Specialist

As a Manufacturing Optimization Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing key areas of our production system, such as plant layout, workflow, logistics, process sequencing, and equipment setup. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading initiatives and establishing methods to maximize the utilization of production facilities, equipment, and workforce. - Driving facility layout planning and design to enhance operational flow and productivity. - Conducting time studies, cycle time analysis, and line balancing to enhance process efficiency. - Implementing lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement strategies. - Analyzing cycle times and removing production bottlenecks. - Applying value stream mapping and other industrial engineering tools to optimize processes. - Performing line balancing for optimal workload distribution. - Designing and deploying jigs, fixtures, and tools to boost safety and efficiency. - Improving ergonomics and human factors across workstations and production lines. - Working on process automation and AI solutions for mistake-proofing. - Using SAP (preferably S/4HANA) hands-on and leading projects independently. - Solving complex engineering challenges using advanced analytical techniques. - Ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your qualifications should include: - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering. - 8-10 years of relevant work experience. - Experience in process optimization and lean manufacturing. - Proficiency with CAD, simulation tools, SAP, and data analysis. - Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. - Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. - Proficiency in both spoken and written English language.
