Manufacturing Manager

Experience Required:

1215 years of relevant experience in machinery manufacturing, preferably in the printing and packaging machine manufacturing industry.

Educational Qualification:

• B.E.

  in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory)

• M.Tech

  preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage the complete manufacturing process for printing and packaging machinery.
• Lead production operations, including assembly, testing, and commissioning of machines with a focus on quality and timelines.
• Ensure strict compliance with manufacturing schedules, resource utilization, and delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with design, R&D, and procurement teams to ensure seamless coordination and process optimization.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices on the shop floor.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), production efficiency, and cost control.
• Ensure timely maintenance of equipment and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Train and mentor shop floor and production teams to improve technical capabilities and performance.
• Prepare regular MIS reports and participate in strategic reviews with senior management.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely availability of fabricated and bought-out items.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Hands-on experience in assembling complex electro-mechanical machinery
• Sound understanding of manufacturing systems, production planning, and inventory control
• Working knowledge of ISO, quality standards, and safety regulations
• Exposure to ERP systems (preferably SAP) for production tracking and reporting
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
