Electrical maintenance daily Operations

• Execute the daily maintenance schedule as planned and allocated by senior management.
• Assist in the planning of shutdown, ensure area clearance before electrical work and implement work permit.

Preventive Maintenance and Equipment Management

• Implement preventive maintenance schedules in coordination with the shop floor teams.
• Conduct regular checks and maintenance of electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure availability of spares and consumables, carry out physical verification and seek timely replenishment.

Electrical system maintenance and safety compliance

• Uphold electrical safety codes and standards while installing and testing electrical equipment and machinery.
• Assist in carrying out scheduled maintenance /annual maintenance of electrical systems within the premises including DG and Transformers and subsequent trials /checkups.
• Carry out testing of all earth pits and update the tag plates to comply with standards.
• Execution of any electrical work related to LT Connection, Light, MCB etc while ensuring compliance with electrical safety code for wiring Installations.

Operational Excellence

• Assist the external agencies in the calibration of the weighbridge and other electrical equipment
• Assist the inspection and certification bodies in obtaining various mandatory electrical certifications.

Documentation, Reporting and regulatory compliance

• Maintain daily logbooks/checklists and report any system deviations to the HOD for timely corrective action.
• Ensure documentation complies with ISO 22000, 9001, FSSC 22000, and HALAL standards.
• Prepare and distribute daily power consumption reports.

Management and Development of manpower

• Manage team of technicians, and allocate tasks and resources for routine and preventive maintenance work.
• Monitor and evaluate the work, and ensure availability of requisite knowledge and skills through upskilling, training and coaching of the team members.

Continuous Improvements and implementation of Five S

• Identify and implement Kaizen to drive continuous improvements and cost reduction.
• Drive the implementation of Five S to keep the workplace organised and clutter-free.

• Execution of daily electrical maintenance operations as per the schedule.
• Management of preventive maintenance and equipment uptime.
• Management of spares and its replenishment
• Electrical system maintenance (DG/Transformer etc) and compliance with safety standards.
• Operational excellence support through support in calibration and certification processes.
• Compliance with regulatory, and legal standards, documentation and log book maintenance and reporting.
• Management and development of manpower
• Continuous improvement programs and 5S Implementation

• B.E-Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5-6 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety regulations
• Managerial skills to supervise a team of technicians
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Digital Literacy and understanding of benchmarked practices from across industry and the relevant field.
