As a highly skilled and dynamic QA Engineer, your role will involve writing, reviewing, and executing test cases within tight deadlines to ensure the quality and reliability of financial software products. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be crucial for success. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases based on functional specifications and user stories. - Ensure test coverage for all possible scenarios, including edge cases and negative testing. - Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements. - Execute test cases, document results, and accurately record and communicate defects to development teams. - Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and design test strategies. - Review and refine test cases with the development team to ensure completeness and accuracy. - Identify, document, and track defects using test management tools. - Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues, analyze root causes, and verify fixes. - Ensure testing activities comply with industry standards and best practices in mutual funds, capital markets, and insurance domains. - Keep up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure software meets compliance standards. - Participate in post-release/post-implementation testing to validate software quality. - Identify areas for process optimization and efficiency to contribute to continuous improvement. - Generate detailed test reports, communicate test results, issues, and risks to stakeholders. - Provide insights and recommendations based on test outcomes to guide decision-making.
