As a Manual Tester with 2 to 5 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of applications through rigorous testing processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test cases and test plans. - Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing. - Execute manual test cases and document results. - Log, track, and verify software defects in bug-tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. - Collaborate with developers, BA, and QA leads to ensure quality deliverables. - Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. - Provide timely feedback and support defect resolution. - Maintain testing documentation and reports. **Qualifications Required:** - 2 to 5 years of experience in manual software testing. - Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. - Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases. - Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to validate data using queries. - Experience testing web and mobile applications is a plus. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
