Manual Tester

As a Manual Software Tester at our company located in Ghaziabad, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for reviewing system specifications, creating comprehensive test cases, executing manual tests, and reporting accurate results. Your collaboration with developers, product managers, and other QA team members will be essential in maintaining product quality throughout the development process. Your key responsibilities will include identifying, recording, and documenting bugs using a bug tracking tool, performing various types of testing such as regression, functional, UI, smoke, and sanity testing, as well as participating in sprint planning and product release processes. It will be imperative for you to adhere to testing best practices and standards while providing valuable feedback on usability and performance. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. While 0-1 year of experience in manual testing is preferred, we also welcome freshers with significant internship experience. A strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) is crucial, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills will be essential for collaborating with your team and working independently when required. Additionally, having knowledge of basic SQL queries, experience in testing mobile applications or web-based systems, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and exposure to automation concepts (even if not hands-on) would be advantageous but not mandatory. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule that requires in-person work at our location in Ghaziabad.
