Manual Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing, particularly in the accounting or finance sector. Joining our QA team at TheX Techvent Pvt Ltd, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the quality and dependability of our software products by conducting thorough testing and validation. Your responsibilities will include understanding business requirements and translating them into test scenarios, developing and executing manual test cases for web and mobile applications, identifying and documenting bugs and issues, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to maintain product quality, performing various testing types like regression, functional, integration, and system testing, ensuring adequate test coverage across different modules with a focus on accounting functionalities, participating in review meetings, and contributing to process enhancements. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 1 year of manual testing experience, a good grasp of SDLC and STLC, strong knowledge of test case design techniques and bug reporting, familiarity with accounting or finance software (preferred), excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, as well as strong communication and documentation abilities. Candidates should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or Computer Science / Information Technology. Preference will be given to individuals with a commerce background coupled with software testing knowledge.
