Job Description: Manual Test Engineer Position Title: Manual Test Engineer Experience Required: 3+ Years (Manual + Performance Testing) Location: [Noida/Gurugram] Employment Type: [Full-Time ] Work Mode: [Onsite] Overview: We are looking for a talented Manual Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and performance testing, a strong understanding of software development life cycles, and a keen eye for detail. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web and API-based applications. Key Responsibilities: Review and understand business and technical requirements. Design and document comprehensive test plans and reusable test cases. Perform functional, regression, system, and integration testing . Execute manual testing for web-based and API applications . Use tools like Postman for API validation. Log, track, and verify defects using test and defect management tools. Validate backend data and conduct basic SQL queries for database testing. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members. Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Maintain clear and detailed documentation for all testing activities. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field . 3+ years of experience in manual and performance testing . Strong experience in writing detailed, reusable test cases . Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) . Good understanding of database concepts and proficiency in SQL . Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
