Manual Tester

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through meticulous testing and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Designing and executing test cases based on requirements and specifications.
• Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborating with development teams to understand features and provide feedback.
• Performing regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not broken by new changes.
• Participating in test planning and test strategy discussions.
• Preparing test reports and metrics for stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in manual testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Proficient in writing clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL for backend testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
