Senior Quality Analyst (Manual QA)

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform

  manual testing

  across multiple interconnected products to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Conduct

  API testing

  to validate seamless integration between systems.
• Design and execute API test cases using tools such as

  Postman

  or

  SOAP UI

  .
• Create, review, and execute

  test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

  .
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues effectively to developers and stakeholders.

Database & Data Validation

• Write and execute

  complex SQL queries

  to validate data accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze and troubleshoot

  database-related issues

  .

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Work closely with developers, product owners, and business teams to understand requirements and technical specifications.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business use cases and requirements.
• Contribute to improving

  testing processes, tools, and best practices

  .
• Share knowledge through mentoring, documentation, and team collaboration.
• Manage priorities effectively while working on

  multiple products

  in a dynamic environment.
• Stay updated with modern testing methodologies and industry best practices.

Domain Expertise

• Apply

  insurance domain knowledge

  to design effective and realistic test scenarios.
• Collaborate with business teams to ensure testing supports business goals and real-world workflows.

Test Automation (Added Advantage)

• Exposure to automation tools such as

  Selenium

  or

  Rest Assured

  .
• Experience in API and functional automation.
• Understanding of end-to-end automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors degree in

  Computer Science, Information Technology

  , or a related field.

• 3+ years

  of experience in software testing with a focus on:
• Manual Testing
• API Testing
• SQL (data validation)

• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as

  Jira, Azure DevOps

  , or similar.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a

  fast-paced Agile environment
